How to build it

  1. 1

    Insert the nail weight into one end of the worm.

  2. 2

    Add an O-ring around the middle third.

  3. 3

    Hook under the ring with the point angled for weedlessness.

  4. 4

    Cast to grass edges or shallow lanes.

  5. 5

    Lift, glide, and let it settle upright.

How to fish it

Bass around grass, shallow current breaks, and pressured summer water.

Variations

  • Use lighter nail weights in skinny water.
  • Use a weedless hook in grass.
  • Switch from straight worms to craw profiles when fish are rooting bottom.
