Eighteen Mile Creek at Hamburg drains 120 square miles of southern Erie County into Lake Erie and is one of the more accessible WNY steelhead waters. The North Branch and South Branch join above the Route 5 crossing; the lower mile holds fish through winter when the Buffalo metro pushes warmer water in.
